About us

Future plans

We hope in the near future to be able to build our own residential environmental centre from which to operate our Environmental Discovery Courses. It will be built in harmony with its setting, using ecologically sound techniques and showing the young people who stay there a more environmentally-friendly way of living.

It is our hope that the experience of living for a week at the centre will help to show the next generation of adults that it is possible to minimise our impact on the environment without having to live with significant compromises to lifestyle. In this way, we hope to achieve long-term change.

The Trust has a site in mind for which full planning permission has been granted.  Project costs are likely to exceed £1 million, so this ambitious scheme is clearly going to require a lot of support to turn into a reality!
